School Guidance Counselor

 

It is our goal at Berean Christian School to provide appropriate academic, social, and spiritual guidance at every grade level. In K5-6th grade this would include help class/tutoring for students who are struggling academically, filling out recommendation forms for students who are transferring to another school, standardized testing, scheduling, as well as Biblical counseling for social and spiritual questions or needs. Students who are in need of ESE services will be referred to the ESE department. I serve as the guidance counselor for 7th-12th grade. In 7th-12th grade in addition to the areas listed above under general guidance, the guidance office handles transcript requests, college recommendations, college scholarships, college fairs, etc. The Dean of Students and Secondary Principal are also available to assist students with academic, social, and spiritual guidance.
