Visual Arts
In the art program at Berean, students are encouraged to nurture the relationship between the visual arts and their Christian faith. These students learn to develop their creative potential, to see the value of their own ideas, and to communicate visually. The art room is a place in which “out of the box” thinking is encouraged and celebrated!
Art is a weekly part of the curriculum for students in Kindergarten through fifth grade. Students in junior high and high school are offered the opportunity to take art as an elective. Students of all ages are instructed in art history, art appreciation, and hands on projects including drawing, painting, collage, printmaking, mixed media, and 3D sculpture.
