NHS
National Honor Society (NHS) membership has been the true mark of student achievement for over 100 years, but it goes far beyond a report card. By empowering, championing, and recognizing well-rounded students, NHS provides schools with a values-based framework to elevate a culture of scholarship, service, leadership, and character.
NHS chapters operate in all 50 states and many schools around the world, engaging and serving more than 1.4 million students. Each year, the average NHS chapter contributes:
- 1,000 hours of school/community service
- $26,000 in charitable donations
- 1,000 pounds of food to local, state, and national causes
- 100 pints of blood

Student Government Association (SGA)
Student Government plays a key role in building school spirit and fostering fellowship among students by planning and coordinating events such as Pep Rallies, Spirit Weeks, Prom, Homecoming, and many others. These activities are not only for fun but are designed to create opportunities for students to bond in a Christ-centered environment. Additionally, Student Government serves as a bridge between the student body and the administration, ensuring that students' concerns and ideas are heard while aligning them with the values and mission of the school. At Berean Christian School, the purpose of Student Government goes beyond organizing events and representing student interests. It is also integral in developing students' leadership skills, upholding Christian values, fostering a strong sense of community, and supporting the overall mission of the school.
